Elba - Jennie M. Haynes, 77, of Elba, passed away Friday, (April 20, 2012) at United Memorial Medical Center following a brief illness.
Mrs. Haynes was born June 6, 1934 in Elba, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robutka.
Jennie was a giving, loving person with an enormous heart. She enjoyed painting, tending to her husband's garden and adored her rose bushes. She was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking, canning, and making jams.
Surviving along with her husband, Robert C. Haynes, whom she married May 14, 1955, are her children, Mary Hester of Centerville, VA, Patricia (Richard) Wiley of Hanford, CA, and David (Laura) Haynes of Falcon, CO; grandchildren, Alanna Wiley of Elmira, Rachel Wiley of Liverpool, NY, Mark Haynes of Colorado Springs, CO, and Kyle (Gabriel) Haynes of Omaha, NE; great-grandson, Domenico Battista of Liverpool, NY. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
