    Churchville - Mr. Jeffrey A. Martz, 64, of Churchville, died Sunday (September 16, 2012) at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center, in Utica. Mr. Martz was born April 8, 1948 in Wyandotte, MI, a son of the late William and Ethel (Sliker) Martz. Mr. Martz was a chef at the LeRoy Country Club and a former session member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bergen. A veteran, he served with the United States Coast Guard and was a member of the American Legion in Churchville. He sang with the Rochester Oratorio Society and enjoyed gardening and bowling. Survivors include his wife, Christine (Rogers) Martz of Churchville; two sons, Scott (Melinda) Martz of Farmington and Kevin Martz of Churchville; a granddaughter, Arianna Martz; two brothers, Jonathan (Patty) Martz of Pittsburgh, PA and Larry Martz of West Bloomfield and several nieces and nephews. He is a brother of the late Charles Martz and Karen Martz McLaughlin. There are no prior calling hours. Services will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church of Bergen, 38 South Lake Street, Bergen. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to Rochester Oratorio Society, 1050 East Avenue, Rochester, NY 14607 or online at http://rossings.org/support-ros/support-us.htm.
