Jane Murnan

Of Stafford, NY passed away October 26, 2013 at age 62; beloved wife of Edward Murnan and the late Michael Murray; dear mother of Patrick (Colleen) Murray; cherished daughter of Catherine Hartley and the late Harry Hartley; stepmother of Andrew (Liz) Murnan, Judy (Keith) Zullig and Major (Sel) Matthew (Agneta) Murnan; loving sister to Nanette Hartley (Arthur Hilson), William (late Jennifer) Hartley, Barbara (Daniel) McDermott and Douglas Hartley (Kristy Long); devoted grandmother to Maddy Kate, Paddy and R. J. Murray and to Ethan and Joshua Murnan and to Ben Zullig; also survived by many nieces, nephews, close relatives and friends.



Jane was born in Niagara Falls, NY on September 20, 1951. She was a long time member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in LeRoy, NY. She was employed by First Choice Travel in Batavia. Jane was an avid gardener and loved flowers, music and reading. Her home was always open to family and friends. Her kindness, her devotion to family, her sense of humor and her love will be our treasured memories forever.



The family will be present to receive friends on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the H. E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 E. Main St., Batavia, NY. Funeral services will be Friday, November 1, 2013 at 10 am at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 1 E. Main St., LeRoy, NY. Note there are no services on Thursday. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
