Stafford- Mr. Henry C. Wolcott, 96, of Stafford, died Tuesday (March 5, 2013) at the LeRoy Village Green Nursing Home.
Mr. Wolcott was born March 17, 1916 in Batavia, a son of the late Frank and Amelia (Royal) Wolcott.
Mr. Wolcott owned and operated Wolcott Farms and was a welder at Graham Manufacturing. He loved hunting, trapping and fishing and was a veteran serving with the United States Army.
Survivors include a sister, Rena Wolcott of Stafford and several nieces and nephews, including Thomas Lambert of Elba, Robert (Debbie) Lambert of Mt. Morris, John Lambert of Florida and Henry Lambert of Colorado. Several great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.
He is a brother of the late Viola Lambert and Gordon Wolcott.
Calling hours are Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Bohm-Calarco-Smith Funeral Home, 308 East Main Street, Batavia. Services will be at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, also at the funeral home. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery, Batavia.
