Batavia - Donna L. Shortt, 55, of Batavia, a head cashier at Rite Aid Pharmacies (East) in Batavia, died Monday, January 2, 2012 at her home in Batavia.
Miss Shortt was born October 10, 1956 in Batavia, the daughter of Hazel F. (Whitney) Short Fletcher of Batavia and the late Donald Shortt.
She was a 1975 graduate of Byron Bergen High School.
Surviving, along with her mother, are a daughter, Amy M. Shortt of Dorchester, MA; 2 brothers, Edward (Eileen) Shortt of Bergen and Michael (Julia Donley) Shortt of Byron; 3 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was the step daughter of the late John Fletcher, Sr.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to Crossroads House, P.O. Box 403, Batavia, NY 14021.
