Donald Anthony Abramo, Jr., 21, of Basom, a welder at Brach Machine Inc. in Batavia, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at his home.
Donald was born April 27, 1991 in Williamsville, a son of Donald A. (Jennifer Malcomb) Abramo, Sr. and Jean (Garrett) Abramo, all of Basom.
He enjoyed fishing, Sabres hockey, welding, video games and 4 wheeling. He was especially fond of helping his father with his catering business.
In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his sister, Ashley R. Abramo of Corfu; his brother, Dominic V. Abramo of Basom; his grandparents, Clayton and Barbara Garrett of Corfu, Charles (Sr.) and Patricia Abramo of Basom and Lucy and Edwin Curtis of Pottsdam; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call on Saturday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm and Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Ave., Oakfield where services will be at 11 a.m. Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to establish a scholarship fund in Donald's name. Burial will be in Cary Cemetery, Oakfield.
