Oakfield - Darlene G. Bilby, age 87 of Oakfield passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at her home under the care of HomeCare & Hospice.

She was born August 22, 1933 in Morocco, Indiana, a daughter of the late Lawrence Dawson and Verda Hickman Dawson.

She was a longtime employee of Fisher-Price in Medina and a member of Living Faith World Outreach in Albion. While growing up Darlene enjoyed playing softball and riding her horses, Julie and Sally. She took great pride in mowing her lawn on her tractors, "Big Red" and "Maude" and enjoyed farming, gardening, sewing and making stuffed animals.

She is survived by her children; Bonita (Joseph) Weese of West Virginia, Carol Bilby of Oakfield, Lawrence Bilby of Albion and Ron Bilby of Oakfield; her daughter-in-law; Grace Bilby of Oakfield; four grandchildren; Joseph and Amanda of West Virginia, Kyle of Florida and Brian of Albion; two great-grandchildren who live in West Virginia and several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her siblings, Dean, Dale, Daryl and Delou.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, June 19th, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Avenue where her funeral service will immediately follow visitation at 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Western New York Chapter, 6215 Sheridan Drive, #100, Buffalo, New York 14221.
