Batavia - Mr. Daniel Charles Smith, 26, a student at St. Mary's Law School in San Antonio, Texas, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, September 18, 2012.
Mr. Smith was born January 27, 1986 in Buffalo, the son of Dr. Gary C. and Patricia (Hart) Smith of Batavia. He was a graduate of Christendom College in Front Royal, Virginia.
Along with his parents he is survived by six brothers, Drummond (Carlie) Smith, Breton Smith, Charles Smith, Matthew Smith, William Smith, Michael Smith; five sisters, Gretel (Paul) Smith-Ewen, Brittany (Josh) Saibini, Rebecca (James) Bowen, Margaret Smith and Lillian Smith; maternal grandparents, Charles & Marie Hart; two nephews, Henry Ewen and James Bowen V. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Roland and Ethelyn Smith
Family and friends may call from 3 to7 pm on Friday at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 E. Main St., Batavia. Prayers will be on 10:30 am Saturday at the funeral home followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at Resurrection Parish - St. Joseph Church, 303 E. Main St., Batavia. Memorials may be made to Christendom College, 134 Christendom Dr., Front Royal, VA 22630. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
