Bergen - Bonnie L. Rowles, 67, of Bergen, passed away, Wednesday, (August 22, 2012) at her home, surrounded by her loving family.



Mrs. Rowles was born January 17, 1945 in Clearfield, PA, a daughter of the late Amos and Violet (Liddle) Taylor.



Bonnie was better known as "mom" to all who knew her and was loved by all. She greatly enjoyed cooking, her flower gardens, and spending time with her family and many friends. She was a member of the Goldwing Riders Association. She will be remembered by those that knew her as a faithful servant to the Lord, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be missed by all.



She and her husband, Richard T. Rowles were married on August 1, 1964 and recently celebrated their 48 wedding anniversary.



Along with her husband, Bonnie is survived by her daughters, Kimberlie (Samuel) Donley of Holley, Kelly (Garth) Ottman of Stuarts Draft, VA, and Beth (Dennis) Wakula of Holley; 5 grandchildren, Thomas (Jennifer) Donley of Holley, Brittany, Trevor (Kimberly), Zackary, Emma Ottman all of Stuarts Draft, VA; 1 great-grandson, Caleb Thomas Donley of Holley; 4 brothers and 4 sisters. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.



At Bonnie's request, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Brockport Free Methodist Church, 6787 Fourth Section Road, Brockport. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lipson Cancer Center, Rochester General Hospital, 1425 Portland Ave, Rochester, NY 14621. Arrangements were entrusted to the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home of Bergen.
