Mr. Richard T. Schimley, II
Alexander - Mr. Richard T. Schimley, II, 44, of Alexander, a Corrections Officer at Albion Correctional Facility, died Friday, May 2, 2008 at home.
Mr. Schimley was born December 28, 1963 in Berkeley, California, the son of Richard Schimley of LeRoy and the late Julie (Rashko) Schimley.
After graduating in 1982 from Alexander High School, Mr. Schimley went to work as a Corrections Officer in Albion. He recently was honored for having been employed there for 25 years. A loving father, he greatly enjoyed many activities, especially hockey, with his sons and also being in the outdoors.
Along with his father he is survived by his wife, Amy Whitmore; three sons, Troy, Trevor and Julien Schimley; one daughter Kayla Wright; one sister, Kara (Ben) Mancuso of Pittsford; his step father, John Rugala and his step brother Jack Rugula both of Florida and several nieces and nephews.
He was a step brother of the late Douglas Rugala.
